§ 658.03. SPECIFIC NUISANCES.

The following specific nuisances are prohibited:

(a) The unauthorized or uncontained depositing or storage of rubbish, garbage, toxic substances or other offensive or dangerous material in any public or private place.

(b) The pollution of Lake Angelus or its tributaries by depositing or permitting the deposit therein of refuse, sewage, wastes, toxic substances, herbicides, fertilizers, chemicals or other offensive or dangerous material.

(c) Causing loud or unusual noises, sounds and vibrations, and the electronic amplification of sounds to levels which are offensive or disturbing to persons of ordinary sensibilities.

(d) The use of internal combustion engines upon the waters or ice surface of Lake Angelus for purposes other than the operation of conventional motorboats and pontoon boats powered by inboard four–cycle engines.

(e) The application or use by any property owner or fertilizer vendor of fertilizer within fifty feet of the waters of Lake Angelus or within fifty feet of any tributary or wetlands contiguous to Lake Angelus or at any other location or in any manner which would permit fertilizer to be carried into the waters of Lake Angelus by surface water runoff. The application or use by any property owner or fertilizer vendor of fertilizer shall not be undertaken in the City prior to April 15th or after October 15th of each year to reduce the risk of frozen ground runoff of fertilizer into the waters of Lake Angelus. Application or use by any property owner or fertilizer vendor of fertilizer which contains phosphorus or contains other than slow release nitrogen shall be prohibited.

(f) The landing upon the lands, waters or ice surface within the City of Lake Angelus of any aircraft, airplane, sailplane, seaplane, helicopter, ground effect vehicle or lighter–than–air craft.

(g) The operation of any motor vehicle, all-terrain vehicle, snowmobile, power-driven ice boat or other motorized vehicle upon the lake ice surface of Lake Angelus is prohibited. In addition the use of motor vehicles, all-terrain vehicles and all snowmobiles is prohibited on undeveloped public property within the City of Lake Angelus.

(h) The failure to restrict pet animals to the owner’s property except when on leash or otherwise under the direct personal control of the owner.
