§ 662.03. PROPER CONFINEMENT AND CONTROL OF A DOG.

  • An owner shall not allow or permit his or her dog to do any of the following:
    (a) To run at large. Any dog found running at large may be seized and impounded by the Chief of Police or his or her designee.
    (b) To damage private property (other than property possessed or controlled by the owner) or public property.
    (c) To defecate on private property (other than property possessed or controlled by the owner) or public property, unless the owner immediately removes and properly disposes of the waste.
    (d) To cause a disturbance by barking, howling, yelping, or otherwise making noise.
