§ 1050.01. DEFINITIONS.

  • The following words, terms, and phrases, when used in this chapter, shall have the following meanings, except where the context clearly indicates a different meaning:
    (a) “Cost,” when referring to the cost of any public improvement, means the cost of surveys, plans, professional services, rights-of-way, permits, condemnation costs and expenses, spreading of rolls, notices, advertising, financing, construction, legal fees, interest on special assessment bonds, and all other costs incident to the designing, financing, acquiring property and the making of such public improvement.
    (b) “Public improvement” means any public improvement, inside or outside the boundaries of the City, that is of such a nature as to benefit especially any real property in a district within the City in the vicinity of such improvement.
